Who is Louise Bugg?
Hi, I’m Louise, the heart behind The Seed of Change Wellbeing.
My journey into wellness began not just with movement, but with a calling — to help others reconnect with themselves, find stillness in a noisy world, and plant the seeds for deep and lasting change.
As a qualified Hatha Yoga teacher and Gong Sound Therapy practitioner, I blend ancient practices with modern life to create soulful spaces for healing and renewal. From dynamic fitness classes like Rockbox and Bodysculpt to deeply restorative sound baths and serene yoga sessions, my work is rooted in balance, authenticity, and compassion.
But more than titles, I’m a guide — walking alongside you, helping you pause, breathe, and rediscover your inner wisdom. Whether it’s through local events, seasonal gatherings, or my long-term dream of hosting retreats in Thailand, my intention remains the same:
To help you feel well, whole, and worthy of joy.
Let’s grow together — one breath, one movement, one moment at a time. 🌱
The Gratitude Garden - Yoga
The name Gratitude Garden bloomed from a deeply personal and spiritual experience during a transformative time in my life.
In June 2023, while completing my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, I committed to a daily meditation practice. For the first time in years, I allowed myself to slow down and fully connect—with my breath, my body, and the world around me. Every morning, I rose at 5 a.m. and stepped into our garden to practice yoga and meditate. The stillness of the early summer light, the birdsong, and the feeling of the earth beneath me created a sanctuary I hadn’t known I was missing.
One morning, as I sat in quiet reflection, I looked around the garden and was suddenly overwhelmed with gratitude — not just for the space itself, but for the freedom to be present within it. In that moment, memories of my dad surfaced. He had always found peace and joy in his garden. And in that silence, I felt his presence so clearly — like a whisper on the breeze, a gentle reminder that life is far more than what we can see or touch.
That morning marked a turning point. The garden became more than just a place — it became a symbol of growth, remembrance, connection, and gratitude.
Gratitude Garden was born from that feeling.
It’s not just a name. It’s an intention.
A space where we come together to tend to our inner worlds the way we might a real garden — with care, patience, and love.
Here, we grow stronger, softer, more present.
Here, we honour where we’ve come from and plant seeds for what’s to come.
My Mantra : Smile, Breathe and Go Slowly.
Sacred Sound : How My Gong Found Me.
My journey with sound healing began in 2023. I attended a Gong sound bath during my yoga teacher training. I didn’t quite know what to expect. But as the rich, resonant tones of the gong filled the space, some deep emotional overwhelm I was facing at the time shifted within me. The sound moved through my body in a way that bypassed thought — offering a sense of release and restoration I hadn’t known I needed. It was a moment of stillness, surrender, and healing that stayed with me long after the session ended.
In the months that followed, life brought challenges that required my full presence and emotional strength. During that time, my personal yoga, meditation, and sound practices became more than rituals—they became essential tools for staying grounded. Listening to gong sound baths in the quiet of the evening helped soothe my nervous system and offered a deep sense of calm and restoration.
Over time, I felt called to explore this healing modality more deeply. In early 2024, I trained as a Gong Practitioner, drawn by a desire to share the same sense of peace and transformation I had experienced myself. It felt like a natural continuation of the path I was already on—a way to offer others not just movement and mindfulness, but meaningful rest.
Today, I offer Sacred Sound sessions with presence, intention, and a deep respect for the healing power of vibration. Each session is an invitation to pause, soften, and reconnect with the deeper self. Whether you are navigating stress, seeking stillness, or simply longing to rest, sound offers a space where your body, mind, and spirit can gently realign.
In a world that often moves too fast and demands too much, gong baths offer a sacred pause. They’re a chance to simply be, to tune in, and to reconnect with your own inner rhythm.
That’s why I share this practice — because I believe in its power to heal, to soothe, and to transform.
No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to receive.
